Mineola has restored its Amtrak station to its original appearance as built by the Texas & Pacific railroad. The Mineola Transportation station is staffed with an employee to open for all train arrivals, 7 days a week. It has a clean and inviting waiting area with clean restroom facilities. The Mineola Depot station does not have a full time AMTRAK ticket agent, however it does have the Quik-Trak Ticket Machine. Their is no Baggage Check in at this station. This building also houses the Railroad Museum and is located in the Historic Downtown Main Street. Several unique restaurants are within walking distance from the station. This building is ADA compliant.
