Amtrak's Longview station is on the east side of downtown, 1/2 block north of the intersection of Cotton St. and Mobberly Ave. This station, an authentic Longview landmark, is a former Texas & Pacific Railway passenger station.

Longview is the 4th busiest station along the Texas Eagle route. It is a connecting point for dedicated motorcoach service to/from Shreveport and Bossier City, La., as well as Nacogdoches, Houston and Galveston, Texas.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Amtrak directional signs can be found throughout Longview.
Traveling on I-20 Exit Estes Pkwy north, which becomes Mobberly. Continue on Mobberly to the depot.
Traveling on U.S. 80 Turn south on 5th St., through underpass. 5th turns into Mobberly. Station is just past underpass on left.
Traveling from Loop 281 Turn south on Judson Rd., then left on Cotton St. to Mobberly Ave. Turn left on Mobberly.

Did you know...
Site of one of the world's great oil discoveries, an oil field 43 miles long and 5 miles wide. The oil discovery in 1931 caused a major boom which helped to cushion East Texas from the worst of the Great Depression. The Amtrak (former T&P) passenger station is located where the Texas & Pacific (from El Paso) met the International Great Northern Railway (from San Antonio). Thruway Motorcoach connections are available east to Shreveport, Louisiana; and south to Nacogdoches, Houston and Galveston.
