Named in 1875 for the Roman goddess of fruit, the name is just as apt today, with the important agricultural department at California State Polytechnic College (Cal Poly Pomona) just to the north. The Los Angeles County Fair is held here in the fall. More than a million visitors come to Pomona each year for the festivities. Mount Baldy, a winter skiing and recreational area, is located 15 miles north of here.

Unstaffed station; no waiting area. Renovation is in progress by the city. Follow construction signs to parking and current boarding area.

From the 60 Freeway	Exit Garey Avenue and go north 2 mi. Turn left on Mission Blvd. and go 2 blk. Turn right on Main Street and go north 2 blk. Cross the railroad tracks and turn right into the parking lot. After parking, walk east along the platform to the station.
